Electrical Project Manager

We are currently recruiting a Electrical Project Manager to join our dedicated team of engineers in a fast-paced environment.

The role will involve all aspects of electrical work, both big and small, within both commercial and domestic properties for our client base.

Flexibility in regard to out of hours working, call outs and working away from home will be required. 

Objective

To oversee the planning, co-ordination and control of reactive and planned maintenance works assigned to you and the electrical team within our area.  To control job timescales, costs, and progress.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Appoint and monitor appropriate labour based on work type
  • Control and analysis of labour costs
  • Attend and contribute to client and contracts meetings if required
  • Collate, manage, and sign off works capturing times, photos, and relevant paperwork.
  • Responsible for site health and safety for day to day works
  • Promote commercial awareness for all jobs
  • Take a lead role in snagging and handover meetings with the design team
  • Ensure quality of workmanship
  • Deliver all works with the timescales allotted
  • Monitor program of works and identify shortfalls and solutions
  • To have meetings with the Operations Manager & team to report and discuss workload, difficulties, and opportunities

Required skills and experience

  • Excellent time keeping and ability to manage own workload and work to deadlines
  • A passion for delivering a professional service and quality product
  • Ideal candidate will be friendly, proactive, have good organisational skills and have a high attention to detail
  • Must have good IT skills Microsoft skills including Excel.
  • Must understand systems.
  • Experience of working in a planned and Reactive maintenance-based role will advantageous

This role will be based at our Nottingham Office.  This position benefits from 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays and receives paid leave while the business is closed over the festive period.  We also offer a pension with 3% employer contribution and many perks such as Feast Fridays, regular nights out, an annual day at the races, a fabulous Christmas party, membership to Westfield Health and much more. 

Salary is based between 35-40K per annum, negotiable depending on experience.
